In fact, we as a nation used to consume these very foods up until several decades ago, prior to the advent of the Industrial Revolution when processed, refined foods and plant oils began to replace the locally produced animal foods and fats many of our great grand parents grew up on, while maintaining a healthier weight, and more robust health.
